Best place to camp, with or without kids, Better if you had kids.. gives us adults a reason to play ! LOL
The Halloween weekend extravaganza is the best for kids and adults. Had a blast with family and friends. For the amount of campers that they pack in this place, it's very clean and safe.
There is so much to do here the kids will never get bored! 2 outdoor pools, a giant bounce pad, basketball courts, roller hockey rink, tennis court, other ball games. Free rentals on all sports equipment. Multiple styles of fun to ride pedal bikes that cost $10/hr or $20/4 hours. Pizza parlor with other foods and drinks, attached to a general store and souvenir shoppe. Golf carts are available for rental also at $35/4 hours or $52/7 hours. Multiple playgrounds, beach volleyball, horseshoes pits. There are multiple cabins for rental as well as sites for tents and rv/trailers. There are fire pits at every site and some cabins have gas grills included. It is definitely worth a visit.
Staff was very unfriendly not helpful at all. They changed our cabin without contacting me. No email or phone call. The cabin they switched us to had bugs. Went back and asked for a refund said they would give me my original cabin it has to be cleaned. I Had 2 disabled person with me that had to wait an 1 1/2 hours in the hot car for my cabin to be cleaned when it was suppose to be ready at 3 pm we didn't get in to almost 5pm. The so called cleaned cabin was still filthy. Table was black and had dried up crumbs it was never washed, bathroom dirty, cob webs everywhere. Chewed gum stuck on things. There is a skunk problem. They sprayed something. The train at sawmill city was a joke. There was over 25 people waiting for the train and they said if there was an empty seat on the last train they won't run it again. Even though their sign says the train will run until the porch was clear. It was a joke. For the amount of money it wasn't worth the hassle. I would give it no stars but that is not an option.
Such a fun place for people of all ages. I've stayed in an rv site, a tent site, and in a cabin. All times have been great experiences. Each site does have a picnic table and a fire pit. They can deliver firewood to your site. They do have convenient kitchens available for the cabins.
